LEGO Harry Potter goes Back to Hogwarts in September 2022

The Back to the Hogwarts 2022 event has begun and the LEGO Group has a part to play in the annual Harry Potter celebrations. 

Back to Hogwarts 2022 is here, commemorating the day in the books and films that students would travel back to Hogwarts, or for the first time, for a year of learning at the school. It’s also become a day for fans to congregate at King’s Cross Station to celebrate the franchise and meet up with each other. As such, an official event is being hosted with photo opportunities, including some from the LEGO Group. 

The Wizarding World website reports that big builds of Mr Weasley’s flying car and the Sorting Hat are on display, but thanks to Twitter posts from Javan Eskander and Hullablue, we know of at least one more model at the event.

Releasing yesterday, August 31, 2022, and including a miniature version of the iconic train that would take students to Hogwarts – 76405 Hogwarts Express – Collectors’ Edition is on display at the Back to Hogwarts 2022 event at King’s Cross Station. It’s likely no coincidence that the huge LEGO Harry Potter set is also available to purchase now. 

For those who can’t attend the event today, there’s no need to worry as the LEGO models will be on display until September 3.
