LEGO Ideas Friends 21319 Central Perk has been discounted at tesco by £12, making the set £52 instead of the usual £64.99. Bargain hunters may want to check the toy aisle at their local branch, while those who don’t want to leave the house can order the set from LEGO.com, where it is currently in stock.

The mode recreates the television set where Ross Geller, Rachel Green, Chandler Bing, Monica Geller, Joey Tribbiani and Phoebe Buffay frequently hung out, at Central Perk coffee shop. Fun nods to the series are included throughout the set for devotees to notice.

“The challenge was to visualize passages of the series to allow me to recreate the furniture and the characters in as much detail as possible. The assembly of this model took me about a week after finding the necessary references. During the voting period, the set was changed several times,” said fan designer Aymeric Fievet, who submitted the project to the LEGO Ideas platform.

LEGO Ideas Friends 21319 Central Perk has caught the attention of some of the show’s cast, with Matthew Perry, who played Chandler on the show, and James Michael Tyler, who played Gunther, both commenting on the set.
