LEGO Technic McLaren P1 Logo GWP returns in some regions
If you missed out on the exclusive GWP for LEGO Technic 42172 McLaren P1, now is your second chance to get it for a limited time only.
The LEGO Group has brought back the buildable McLaren P1 Logo GWP that was originally released alongside 42172 McLaren P1 in the UK and Europe. The terms for earning it remain the same, namely only for LEGO Insiders and only with purchases of the LEGO Technic set, priced at £389.99 in the UK and €449.99 in Europe. The returning GWP is only available until September 17, leaving just under a week to snap up the deal if you haven’t already.
When we got our hands on 5008946 McLaren P1 Logo for our review, we were impressed with the Technic complexity that went into the build, earning it a place as a high-value gift with purchase. Considering the hefty price to earn yourself one of these, it certainly needed to impress – and indeed it did.
The brick-built mechanics within mean that the 3D logo can rotate by turning the level on the side of the base. With matching McLaren branding as on the LEGO Technic car itself, it pairs nicely with the larger build and is well worth picking up while you can. If you’ve been on the fence about whether to bite the bullet on 42172 McLaren P1, this limited-time GWP is impressive enough to sweeten the deal in our book.
