Rumoured LEGO Marvel 76269 Avengers Tower could revive some bricks

LEGO Marvel 76269 Avengers Tower is reported to include a cast of characters that could revive a pair of previously-available Marvel pieces.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s many LEGO sets have resulted in a few specific bricks designed for heroes and villains alike. From the Infinity Gauntlet element to Iron Man’s helmet, some of these appear to have been retired, as is the case with many pieces.

The latest rumour for the reported 76269 Avengers Tower is that it could include two Iron Man suits, a big-fig Hulk, Vision, Falcon, the Wasp, Ultron, Hawkeye, Helen Cho, an Ant-Man microfigure, Thor, Tony Stark, Captain America, Black Widow, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Pepper Potts, Nick Fury, Wong, and four Chitauri.

Two of these characters could mean the return of some specific bricks unless they receive something new or a stand-in element.

Ultron (in his ultimate form) and Ant-Man previously appeared as minifigures in 76032 The Avengers Quinjet City Chase and 76124 War Machine Buster respectively. As you might be able to guess, they used some rare or exclusive bricks for the sake of accuracy.

Ultron’s two headgear pieces paired with a new eye print on the head could be reintroduced for the rumoured 76269 Avengers Tower, as could Ant-Man’s helmet with antennae from 2019’s 76124 War Machine Buster.

Ant-Man is rumoured to be a microfigure in the reported model, but The Wasp’s helmet design could be applied to the piece from the 2019 build with ease. This is the second iteration of Ant-Man’s helmet, opting for printing instead of dual-moulding. The other helmet last appeared in 2018, so the later headgear seems more likely, should any of them return.

Nothing, including the existence of the set, has been confirmed for the rumoured 76269 Avengers Tower at the time of writing so take any unofficial information with caution.
