Two rumoured LEGO Art sets spotted online
LEGO Art could be getting two new sets in 2023 – including one that crosses over with LEGO Marvel.
According to 1414FalconFan on Instagram, two LEGO Art sets might be on their way in 2023. The first is believed to be linked to LEGO Marvel: 31209 The Incredible Spider-Man. What’s more, the piece count of 2,099 could be a hint that the Spider-Man depicted won’t just be any Spider-Man, but Spider-Man 2099, a futuristic variation of the character whose real identity is Miguel O’Hara, a brilliant Irish-Mexican geneticist living in Nueva York, rather than high-school student and photographer Peter Parker.
In addition, the theme will also get a possibly abstract addition with 31210 Modern Art. Previous LEGO Art builds have all focused on specific images, such as 31207 Floral Art, which offered various options for floral designs. The name Modern Art suggests that this model could be more conceptual, broadening the theme to include more diverse artistic tastes.
Here’s a quick breakdown of all the details rumoured about these sets so far. Remember that nothing is confirmed until we hear from the LEGO Group officially.
Set name | Price | Pieces | Release date |
---|---|---|---|
31209 The Incredible Spider-Man | TBC | 2,099 | [TBC] 2023 |
31210 Modern Art | TBC | 805 | [TBC] 2023 |
