Star Wars: Ahsoka reveals could see LEGO set value skyrocket

The many reveals for Star Wars: Ahsoka at Star Wars Celebration could see one LEGO set’s value skyrocket for both its model and minifigures.

Star Wars: Ahsoka appears to act as a live action sequel to Star Wars: Rebels with everyone from Chopper to Thrawn featuring in the series.

While some LEGO sets for the show are rumoured, though not officially confirmed, this presents an interesting opportunity for those who own the previous Star Wars: Rebels models.

In particular, 75170 The Phantom, based on the second version of the ship from the final season, features the only Thrawn minifigure so far and rumours suggest that he won’t be included in the initial models for Ahsoka.

That could mean that the value of the Thrawn minifigure will skyrocket as interest in the character potentially increases with the live action series. Currently on BrickLink, the average price for a new minfigure is £106.88.

The Phantom II is also featured in the first trailer for Ahsoka and reports hint that the ship won’t be subject to any builds in the near future either. On BrickLink, a new copy of the set is £175.72 on average, including the Thrawn minifigure.

Whether these prices will increase following the reveals from the Ahsoka trailer have yet to be revealed but with rumours suggesting that neither the ship nor Thrawn will be in a set soon, these could increase as interest rises.

Ahsoka is releasing on Disney+ in August 2023 and you can read our breakdown of the new trailer by clicking here

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
