Star Wars Outlaws gameplay blends stealth and space exploration

An extensive look at the gameplay of the upcoming open-world Star Wars Outlaws game has been revealed, blending stealth and exploration.

Debuted at Ubisoft Forward for June 2023, Star Wars Outlaws was originally announced at the Xbox Showcase but now has a gameplay video to watch.

As reported following the Xbox Showcase, Star Wars Outlaws is all about pulling of heists while staying one step ahead of the Empire or any of the other factions that want your head.

The gameplay in Star Wars Outlaws sees scoundrel Kay Vess alongside her furry companion Nix stealing from syndicates to sell items to other crime syndicates and make a living in a galaxy far, far away.

Players will need to rely on stealth or blaster combat when things inevitably go south. You can use Nix to scout ahead and perform actions while sneaking around.

As an open-world game, you can go south yourself using a speeder bike to explore planets and settlements, before being chased off to the next planet aboard your ship.

There’s not just a menu to travel between planets though as space combat and flight has been integrated into the game too.

Star Wars Outlaws is coming in 2024 to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC and some aspects of the gameplay may change before release.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
