Wolverine’s classic suit makes cinematic debut in Deadpool 3

Ryan Reynolds has revealed a fresh look at Deadpool 3, including a look at Hugh Jackman in the classic Wolverine costume.

Taking to Instagram, Ryan Reynolds, who stars in Deadpool 3, has shared the designs for his and Hugh Jackman’s costumes in the film while filming is underway.

Featuring the signature blue and yellow colour scheme, Wolverine’s outfit in the third film is significantly more nostalgic than previous costume designs for the character in movies.

Technically, a yellow outfit similar to the classic costume from the comics appears in a deleted scene for The Wolverine, but the character never donned that suit, so it doesn’t quite count.

One of the most notable differences between this new costume and that of the comics is the addition of sleeves, but otherwise, it’s a close match. Deadpool’s outfit has had a few changes since the second film but isn’t quite as interesting as Wolverine’s.

Following the recent delays, Deadpool 3 is currently slated to be released on May 3, 2024, and will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Those who feel inspired by this new image can pick up a similar costume in LEGO as part of 76257 Wolverine Construction Figure

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
