LEGO Harry Potter Mandrake model rumoured for 2024
A buildable Mandrake could be the next entry into LEGO Harry Potter’s recent range of upscaled figures and props, rumoured for 2024.
Exabrickslegogo_ on Instagram reports that a buildable Mandrake may be in LEGO Harry Potter’s future. The rumour is that 76433 Buildable Mandrake is coming in the summer of 2024 for $64.99 with 579 pieces. That’s on par with 76414 Expecto Patronum from earlier this year. However, the scale of the fictional plant may mean that this could be a life-sized depiction of a Mandrake.
Provided it comes with a pot, or at least a pair of earmuffs if not, the buildable Mandrake may be right at home alongside other upscaled plant models, including 71426 Piranha Plant and 76217 I am Groot and even the realistic Botanical Collection builds.
LEGO Harry Potter has featured Mandrakes before in 76384 Hogwarts Moment: Herbology Class, the two LEGO Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures Series, 75969 Hogwarts Astronomy Tower and 5378 Hogwarts Castle. However, none of them have been close to the scale of the rumoured 2024 set.
This is still only a rumour until officially confirmed as otherwise by the LEGO Group and we’d advise taking all reported information with caution to avoid disappointment.
2024 is nearly here thankfully and the year’s sets are starting to be revealed on LEGO.com for Jurassic World and Super Mario. However, we likely won’t be seeing the official reveals of the summer sets for some time yet.
