Two more LEGO Super Mario 2024 sets revealed
Two more LEGO Super Mario sets have been revealed by a Finnish retailer, offering an easier and more affordable way to grab Bowser.
Finnish retailer Verkkokauppa has added an image featuring two previously unrevealed LEGO Super Mario sets to a listing for 71429 Nabbit at Toad’s Shop. These include one smaller entry and another that may be good news for those who have yet to buy the more expensive LEGO Super Mario sets.
Based on listings for these set numbers, we may know the price and piece count, though these details have yet to appear on LEGO.com at the time of writing.
71428
Price: €9.99 Pieces: 107 Release date: January 2024
71428 is a small build and includes one pink and one yellow Yoshi with a printed Yoshi egg for what appears to be the first time ever. One action tag is visible in front of the tree.
71431
Price: €29.99 Pieces: 458 Release date: January 2024
Unfortunately, this isn’t a Mario Kart set, though it may be as close as we ever get. 71431 depicts the Koopa Chase from Super Mario 3D World with two bombs, the car itself and the uncommon Bowser figure. According to listings, this set will cost €29.99, while Bowser has only been included in much more expensive models previously.
