LEGO Fortnite adds Disney character ahead of LEGO Ideas set

LEGO Fortnite’s latest addition to the growing roster of outfits with LEGO styles is a familiar Disney character, but a bit out of season.

Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas debuted as an outfit in Fortnite in October 2023 and has now returned to the in-game item shop alongside his unique Contorted Scowl emote (included with the outfit), the Peppermint Parasol pickaxe and the Jack’s Sled glider.

For LEGO Fortnite enthusiasts, it has been confirmed that the outfit has received a LEGO style that you’ll receive by purchasing the outfit and it should be familiar.

The Jack Skellington minifigure is now available in LEGO Fortnite and it uses the same torso, neck accessory and legs as the 71024 Disney Series 2 minifigure, but the head has been modified to have smaller eyes comparatively.

The LEGO style has recreated the outfit’s unique emote too, though it doesn’t stretch the minifigure head as it does with the outfit’s non-LEGO head. Those who want to pick up this outfit can do so in-game now but be aware that the Fortnite shop frequently changes its selection.

The appearance of Jack Skellington in Fortnite again now makes little sense considering that we’re not close to Christmas or Halloween in 2024. That said, the reveal of the LEGO style times well with the upcoming release of the LEGO Ideas Nightmare Before Christmas model.

The LEGO Fortnite team has previously added LEGO styles for outfits based on several real-life creators as well as some Marvel heroes and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Once you purchase an outfit, its LEGO style will be unlocked at no extra charge immediately and is yours forever. These outfits require an additional purchase in-game with Fortnite’s currency and prices can vary.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
