LEGO Dungeons & Dragons Mimic Dice Box GWP returns worldwide
The exclusive LEGO Dungeons & Dragons Mimic Dice Box gift-with-purchase is now available again worldwide, offering another opportunity to pick up one of the year’s rarest freebies.
5008325 Mimic Dice Box was originally available when buying 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale at launch, but sold out within just a few days. Your only option then was to turn to the aftermarket, where the 168-piece model – and its exclusive printed eye elements – was fetching up to a quarter of the LEGO Ideas set’s total RRP, or around £60-80.
The LEGO Group has apparently now found a few extra copies down the back of the sofa (read: in a warehouse) as 5008325 Mimic Dice Box is once again free exclusively with purchases of 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale. The 3,745-piece set is the LEGO Group’s first foray into the fantastical world of D&D, and will be followed by a Collectible Minifigures series later this year.
This gift-with-purchase is available for LEGO Insiders only, so make sure to log into your account (or sign up if you haven’t already) before adding 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale to your basket. You’ll then qualify for 5008325 Mimic Dice Box until July 28, or while stocks last – and given how quickly it sold out last time, we’d be surprised to see it make it all the way to Sunday.
21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale is also large enough on its own to qualify for 40692 Candy Store, which is free with all orders above £180 / $200 / €200 through July 31 (or while stocks last). Check out our reviews of both LEGO Dungeons & Dragons sets below.

Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
