LEGO Fortnite sets are surprisingly a-peeling

LEGO Fortnite sets are finally here, and as launch waves for video game themes go, these are surprisingly perfect – especially compared to a recently-revealed gaming set…

The LEGO Group doesn’t have a blanket approach to new themes, and certainly not to new LEGO video game themes. The proof is in the four new LEGO Fortnite sets that are launching in October (and are available to pre-order from today), which manage to offer something for everyone at a range of price points – and none of which are going to drain your wallet in the same way as, say, a certain Legend of Zelda set.

That’s the first conclusion we’ve drawn from this reveal in our latest YouTube video, but it’s not the only key takeaway from these LEGO Fortnite sets. Plus: we’ve also taken a deep dive into the lore behind the launch wave, from a set that blurs the lines between game and reality to the sheer attention to detail imbued into a giant blue and purple llama. Trust us, it’s there.

Find out everything you need to know about the LEGO Fortnite sets – including why you should care about them, which is especially relevant if Fortnite in general is a foreign concept to you – by hitting play above or heading over to our YouTube channel.

The four LEGO Fortnite sets are available to pre-order at LEGO.com now, and will remain exclusive to the official online store and LEGO Stores at least through the rest of 2024. Check out all the details in the table below, or head here for more images of each one.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
