LEGO Star Wars page adds anniversary minifigures, but another is MIA
Fact files for another three minifigures have been added to the LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary page, but a fourth has vanished for now.
A huge number of new LEGO sets landed online and in stores from today, covering multiple themes and potentially draining the bank accounts of even the most affluent builders. Included in that line-up are nine LEGO Star Wars models, with three sets including special-edition 25th anniversary minifigures.
Available right now are 75392 Creative Play Droid Builder with Young Princess Leia, 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer with Cal Kestis and 75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit with Nien Nunb. The trio of unique minifigures also come with their own printed display stands, so you can place them next to the previously released Darth Malak, ARC Trooper Fives and Saw Gerrera, plus a bonus Darth Maul in the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary: Updated Edition.
In addition, the LEGO Star Wars theme’s 25th anniversary landing page has now been updated with full fact files for each of the new minifigures. Fans can read a short bio for each character, find out what their key attributes are and click through to order their specific sets.
Until recently, the landing page merely featured silhouettes of the remaining 25th anniversary minifigures, complete with cryptic descriptions, as well as a listing for a mysterious seventh character. The original details on the page earlier in 2024 mentioned six special-edition minifigures would be included in a selection of LEGO Star Wars sets this year, but that was then expanded to seven.
The only hint as to which character that might actually be was the puzzling reference to ‘Oh so cute’ on the page, which may well tie into rumours of the pink astromech R2-KT potentially appearing in a yet-to-be-confirmed LEGO Store exclusive set later this year.
Until the character is officially revealed on the landing page, here’s a full rundown of every LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary special-edition minifigure confirmed or rumoured to date.
