New LEGO combo packs and gift sets confirmed
Early listings on the Building Instructions page confirmed that new LEGO combo backs and gift sets are on the way later this year.
Sometime in 2024, we can expect to see some LEGO Technic, Batman, and Space packs and gift sets. We’ve seen this style of product before with multipacks such as 66775 Hoth Combo Pack and 66708 Galactic Adventures Pack but we can’t say for sure what’s included in these ones. The Building Instructions page doesn’t include any images, descriptions, or any other details outside of the names.
Still, those names of the four packs are: 66784 NEOM McLaren Racing Gift Set, 66792 McLaren Racing Pack, 66790 Batman vs. The Joker Gift Set, and 66791 Space Play Pack. Clearly, the first two will be related to LEGO Technic sets with McLaren branding. There’s quite a lot of choice there, between 42169 NEOM McLaren Formula E Race Car, 42166 NEOM McLaren Extreme E Race Car, and 42141 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car and there’s always the possibility that the packs will include new builds as well.
66790 Batman vs. The Joker Gift Set could also include a number of sets, such as 76224 Batmobile: Batman vs. The Joker Chase, 76272 The Batcave with Batman, Batgirl and The Joker, 76264 Batmobile Pursuit: Batman vs. The Joker, and 76265 Batwing: Batman vs. The Joker. Seeing as the pack name only refers to Batman and the Joker, it might focus on sets that only include the duo of enemies but it’s hard to say at this point.
For 66791 Space Play Pack, there are dozens of space-themed LEGO sets to pick from this year, especially as it hasn’t got a dedicated theme. Could this be an inter-theme play pack? That remains to be seen until we get an official reveal from the LEGO Group.
