Trio of Walmart-exclusive LEGO gift sets now available
Those in the US can now pick up three new LEGO gift sets at Walmart, with each retailer-exclusive bundle including a trio of existing models.
Retailer-exclusive LEGO sets are nothing new and neither are combinations of existing (or hard-to-find) models being offered together in one larger box. That’s certainly true when it comes to Walmart, with three listings having now been added by the US retailer for those shoppers looking to score multiple builds in one go and save a little cash.
Available to order are 66783 Colorful Animals Play Pack, 66789 Animal Gift Set and 66786 Adventure Gamer Gift Set. The trio of offerings have all previously popped up on the official LEGO Building Instructions portal, but until now we didn’t have confirmation of exactly which models would be included within each box.
Inside 66783 Colorful Animals Play Pack can be found 40639 Bird’s Nest, 31140 Magical Unicorn, a LEGO Creator 3-in-1 build, and 30668 Easter Bunny with Colourful Eggs (a previous GWP). The former two sets usually retail for $22.98 together, but when combined in this set go for $33.89, making the latter a very expensive polybag indeed.
66789 Animal Gift Set comes in at a more reasonable $20 and includes 31058 Mighty Dinosaurs, 31088 Deep Sea Creatures and 31125 Fantasy Forest Creatures. If you were to pick up those LEGO Creator builds separately, you’d be looking at spending $44.97, so there’s definitely a significant saving to be had with this pack.
Finally, there’s 66786 Adventure Gamer Gift Set, a LEGO Minecraft selection that bundles together 21166 The “Abandoned” Mine, 21178 The Fox Lodge and 30672 Steve and Baby Panda polybag, all for just $29.84. Buying the former two models together would come to $39.98, so once again you’re looking at something of a bargain with this exclusive bundle.
