Three LEGO exclusives discounted, including two retiring sets
Three LEGO sets available exclusively through official channels are all discounted right now, including a LEGO Disney set that’s slated to retire in 2024.
The LEGO Group has slashed prices on 40613 Mini Disney Palace of Agrabah, 40678 Festival Calendar and 40714 Carousel Ride at LEGO.com, with discounts ranging from 15% off to 30% off sets that you won’t find anywhere else. The deepest discount is available on the microscale Aladdin model, which comes down from £39.99 / $39.99 to just £27.99 / $27.99 in the UK and US respectively.
That set originally launched in October last year and is already on its way out the door in Billund, with a retirement date of December 31, 2024. Given the timing of this sale, it seems likely that once the current supply has sold through, it won’t be coming back into production – so don’t miss the chance to snap it up on sale if you want to complete your mini Disney castle collection.
Elsewhere, two 2024 LEGO Store exclusives have received minor discounts, one of which is also scheduled to retire this year. 40714 Carousel Ride is available for 20% off in the UK, bringing it down from £21.99 to £17.59 (it’s still full price in the US and Europe, though). That one’s on the way out in 2024. But you’ve got a bit longer yet to grab 40678 Festival Calendar, which isn’t due to retire until 2026.
That hasn’t stopped the LEGO Group from knocking 15% off the 345-piece set though, which translates to a discounted price of £22.94 (down from £26.99). This discount is also only available in the UK. Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
