LEGO YouTubers pull in 13 billion views in the first half of 2024
YouTube has shone a spotlight on the LEGO YouTuber community, as LEGO videos gathered a massive 13 billion views in the first half of 2024.
YouTube has revealed that YouTube videos related to LEGO have earned 13 billion views in the first half of 2024. That includes reviews, animations, and custom builders of anything from life-sized pinball machines to sprawling brick-built cities. While that might seem like a drop in the pond of YouTube views, considering the platform has around 122 million daily active users on average, it’s still undoubtedly an impressive feat – and a testament to the ever-growing popularity of LEGO.
To reflect the ever-growing community of LEGO content creators, YouTube created a dedicated playlist of popular videos, featuring animators, reviewers, modders, and more. The LEGO YouTube community has earned a written shout-out from YouTube and some content creators have received brick-built versions of the YouTube logo. This echoes how the company sends creators Play Buttons as a reward for reaching certain subscriber numbers.
YouTube has also edited together a LEGO version of some popular LEGO YouTubers, hosted by Emmasaurus and Citrine’s Animations. Check it out in full below.
