Fortnite has the LEGO football game we’ve been waiting for

A new LEGO Island promoted by official Fortnite channels is the LEGO football game we’ve been waiting years for.

With each passing day, the chance of LEGO 2K Goooal! releasing anytime soon seems to drop further. Thankfully, LoveisReal Games’ Table Football LEGO Island is here for your LEGO football needs. The official Fortnite X account promoted the island earlier today, showcasing the gameplay that players can expect.

With no sign of the yet-to-be officially revealed LEGO football game by 2K Games, this island stands as a surprisingly well-designed replacement.

The gameplay loop appears to be as you would expect, but at least the long-awaited LEGO football video game experience is here, unofficially. Should LEGO 2K Goooal! be released one day, it will be interesting to see how this LEGO Island compares to it.

In the meantime, the LEGO Island is available in-game now searching for the island code 6242-1463-8607. A brief scene from the promotional video features a wheel that grants experience for anyone who is searching to level up the Marvel Battle Pass

Don’t forget that four LEGO Fortnite sets launch on October 1, including nine minifigures in one of the theme’s most desirable models.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
