LEGO The Lord of the Rings game now free to play for some
To celebrate the impending release of Amazon’s Rings of Power season 2, LEGO The Lord of the Rings is now free to play for some.
Amazon Prime members can now play three Lord of the Rings games for free to celebrate the second season of Rings of Power, including LEGO The Lord of the Rings. Released in 2012, the game follows the stories of the original trilogy of movies: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King. In classic LEGO videogame style, the plot points are reimagined with brick-built humour.
Scoring 80% on Metacritic among both critics and fans, it’s a respectable entry in the world of LEOG games and ideal for any Lord of the Rings fan. It will certainly visit digital brick-built versions of the two LEGO Icons sets based on the franchise: 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell and 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr, so you can explore them in more detail – and perhaps get inspired to buy and build your own.
The other two games also available for free for Prime members are Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition via GOG code, and play Middle-earth: Shadow of War on Amazon Luna. Head to Amazon Gaming to find the free games available now and start playing. You’ll need to sign in and have an active Prime membership in order to get going.
