LEGO Minecraft 2025 set rumours emerge with no movie mention
The first full rumours for LEGO Minecraft’s 2025 sets have surfaced following the trailer for the game’s movie, but there’s no mention of it so far.
A Minecraft Movie hits the big screen next April and LEGO Minecraft could have the opportunity to capitalise on the film next year through accompanying sets. Initial rumours for 2025 from Polish fan site Fanklockow suggest that this won’t be the case until much closer to the movie’s release date, or not at all.
Following earlier rumours of five LEGO Minecraft sets launching in January 2025, reported set names for these builds have emerged alongside prices and piece counts. Remember that all rumours should be taken with caution in case details or the entire report is inaccurate. It’s also likely that these rumoured names are not final, as they are missing the signature ‘The’ featured in every LEGO Minecraft model name.
Of the rumoured January 2025 sets, 21267 Visit to the Village is the most intriguing as village sets have been few and far between. This may just be a small part of the village, such as its well, though at just 105 elements. This model and 21266 Nether Portal Battle potentially align with aspects of the A Minecraft Movie teaser trailer, but the other three models don’t currently match up.
Given the rumoured names and their reported release three months before the movie, these sets seem unlikely to be based on the film. Instead, the source reports that 11 more models are coming in March or later, much closer to the release of the movie in April. No further details are reported for them though.
At the time of writing, these sixteen LEGO Minecraft sets remain only rumours and they should be taken with ample caution until an official announcement is made confirming otherwise.

The source also mentions that 21281 may be a LEGO store-exclusive set, but that they haven’t heard anything specific other than it being missing from their list. For now, we’ll leave it out of the rumours for LEGO Minecraft in 2025 as a missing set number is by no means a guarantee of an additional set.
