Every LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary minifigure confirmed

With today’s unveiling of 40755 Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder, we’ve now got official confirmation of every single LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary minifigure.

The LEGO Group is celebrating the LEGO Star Wars theme’s 25th anniversary with a range of exclusive bonus minifigures inserted into sets throughout 2024. The common thread between them is essentially characters that otherwise wouldn’t have appeared in sets, ticking off a few glaring omissions from the wider LEGO Star Wars minifigure line-up in the process.

A total of seven such minifigures are either already in stores or making their way to shelves this year, and we’ve now got a complete picture of all of them thanks to the reveal of October’s new LEGO Star Wars sets. Rounding out the line-up is QT-KT, a pink astromech droid inspired by the story of Katie Johnson, who tragically passed away from brain cancer in 2005.

Katie’s father and 501st Legion founder Albin Johnson originally created an astromech droid dubbed ‘R2-KT’ to honour his daughter, but Lucasfilm changed its moniker to QT-KT to avoid confusion with R2-D2. The droid made its animated debut in Season 5 of The Clone Wars as Aayla Secura’s personal astromech, and now makes its LEGO Star Wars debut in 40755 Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder.

If you’re aiming to collect them all, you might also want to shoot for the updated LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary, which includes a reissued Darth Maul minifigure from 2007 with special 25th-anniversary back printing. That one doesn’t come with a printed 25th-anniversary stand, though, and doesn’t really fit into the same theme as the rest, so it’s more of a bonus minifigure than part of the main collection.

40755 Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder launches October 1 for £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99. The rest of the LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary sets (in the table above) are available now. Look out for our review of all seven anniversary minifigures together later this week…

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
