First details of rumoured LEGO Technic 2025 releases emerge

At least 10 new LEGO Technic sets are said to be releasing in the first quarter of 2025, if the latest rumours are to be believed.

Rumours of multiple new LEGO sets for 2025 have begun to emerge today, giving us an initial idea of what models we can potentially expect to see at some point next year. Now comes word from Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat regarding a line-up of at least 10 LEGO Technic sets reported to be releasing in the months to come.

January 2025 is said to kick off the year with six builds, two of which may be based on licensed Monster Jam vehicles. For starters, there’s 42197 Backhoe loader with 104 pieces priced at $13, 42198 Propellor Plane coming in at $27 for 333 pieces, 42201 Deep Sea Explorer Submarine boasting 413 pieces for $37 and the unnamed 42202 which is rumoured to be a 1,603 piece set for $190

Slotting in between those four LEGO Technic sets are 42199 Monster Jam DIGatron at $27 for 218 pieces and 42200 Monster Jam ThunderROARus with 232 pieces, also priced at $27. Based on the images of the actual vehicles above, we can probably expect both to be sturdy and colourful builds, complete with large, chunky tyres.
