Manchester is getting a third LEGO store perfect for LEGO Concorde

With two LEGO stores in the city already, Manchester will soon be adding a third to its line-up, as part of an airport terminal transformation.

The Facebook page for Manchester Airport has revealed that Terminal 2 will soon be opening up a new LEGO store. This announcement comes after the reveal of a retail location in another UK airport earlier this year.

This will join the store at the Arndale Centre and the Trafford Centre as technically the third store in the city. That said, it won’t be as accessible as the other two unless you’re taking a trip.

The store will open as part of the transformation of Terminal 2, which will see the opening of many other shops and restaurants too. The Facebook announcement also notes that 10318 Concorde will be available to purchase, which makes sense considering that one of the few models of the plane is on display at Manchester Airport.

Some of the LEGO stores in airports have big build displays relevant to that location and while Concorde is mentioned in the announcement, that’s not a confirmation that any such display based on Concorde will be on show. At the very least, the official set will likely be on display.

Manchester’s third LEGO store has no opening date at the time of writing. An official press release states that the final phase of the Terminal 2 transformation will be finished by summer 2025.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
