Ahsoka’s main trailer teases ships, characters and Star Wars action

A new trailer for the upcoming Star Wars series, Ahsoka, has been revealed, showcasing ships, returning characters and lightsaber-centric action.

Ready for the August 23 release, and following the reveal of the first Ahsoka set, including a look at a new minifigure for the character, the latest trailer for Ahsoka has been released online.

Thanks to the previous trailer, we have some idea of the story that this series will tell as it continues on from the finale of Star Wars: Rebels. However, it has now been confirmed that there will be a two-episode premiere on August 23.

The trailer also offers a look at some returning vehicles, including the Eta-class shuttle, which has yet to be depicted in LEGO physically. This appears to be what Baylan and Shin use to travel around the galaxy.

Ahsoka is opting for a T-6 shuttle, which is rumoured to be getting a LEGO set including minifigures of Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren and Huyang, all of which can be seen in the ship’s cockpit in the trailer.

Some scenes feature the shuttle being pursued by a pair of starfighters, one of which has a similar shape to a model featured on the box art of 75357 Ghost & Phantom II.

A new poster for Ahsoka has also been revealed, offering a better look at the character’s outfit in the series without the cloak. Compared to the minifigure, the LEGO Star Wars design team appear to have done a good job of capturing its likeness.

One of the most exciting parts of the trailer is the first full look at Thrawn, played by Lars Mikkelsen.

Ahsoka starts streaming on Disney+ with two episodes on August 23. 75357 Ghost & Phantom II launches on September 1 and no other LEGO sets based on the show have been confirmed at this time.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
