Another LEGO Fortnite freebie confirmed, but you might not qualify for it
Following an initial free cosmetic bundle, a second set of complimentary cosmetics has been confirmed for Fortnite and LEGO Fortnite.
It’s been a busy week for Fortnite enthusiasts and even those only interested in LEGO Fortnite with the start of a Marvel season and its various outfits as well as some freebies for everyone to earn, on the right device.
Those freebies are only available to those able to play Fortnite on a mobile device, including a LEGO Style. The bonus good news for anyone who is currently in pursuit of the free Katalina skin is that you can now earn a second free outfit, with one more caveat.
The various Fortnite social media accounts have announced that anyone who has played Fortnite on a Samsung device from December 3, 2022, to August 16, 2024, can score a free bundle of cosmetics including the Andromeda outfit with a LEGO style. All you need to do is play again on your Samsung device until September 15.
Those who have not played Fortnite during that time frame and are not on a Samsung device will not be eligible for the outfit. Unfortunately, the eligibility period for the outfit ended yesterday. It’s good news for those with the foresight to pursue the free Katalina outfit already, but not as good news for anyone who was waiting for the right moment to start the quests.
The Fortnite and LEGO Fortnite teams have been notably generous at the start of the new Marvel season and hopefully, there are more freebies to look forward to in the future. At the time of writing, nothing more has been officially confirmed.
