Best price yet on LEGO Harry Potter Great Hall
The biggest and most impressive LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall to date is down to its lowest-ever price at Amazon.
If you’ve yet to get started on what the LEGO Group is calling its ‘most detailed Hogwarts ever’, this is basically the perfect opportunity. 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall is the flagship section of the wizarding school to which the rest will be anchored, and while it normally retails for a hefty £169.99, you can currently scoop it up at Amazon for just £135.99.
That’s a 20% discount on the 1,732-piece set, which is definitely not the first LEGO Harry Potter Great Hall, but is certainly the most ambitious playset version ever to arrive on shelves. As well as the Great Hall itself, the build packs in the Entrance Hall, courtyard and even steps down to the boathouse (sold separately), along with a pair of underground rooms that can be swapped in and out.
Other LEGO Harry Potter sets in this new format include 76426 Hogwarts Castle Boathouse, 76430 Hogwarts Castle Owlery and 76431 Hogwarts Castle: Potions Class. All of those will be worth picking up alongside the Great Hall, but the reverse is not necessarily true: you really do need this focal point of the school to tie everything together, including whatever comes next.
There’s plenty of bang for your buck in there though (especially at this reduced price). As well as the building itself, 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall includes 10 minifigures and the LEGO Harry Potter theme’s first Mountain Troll since 2002’s 4712 Troll on the Loose. Seven of those minifigures are unique to this set too, including the Fat Friar, Daphne Greengrass, Professor Vector and an even more detailed Albus Dumbledore.
