Brickworld goes virtual
Brickworld, the travelling US LEGO convention, is offering a virtual experience so that those stuck at home can feel more connected to the community.
For the first time, Brickworld is offering a virtual LEGO convention. With many people across the USA – and around the world – stuck inside to help reduce the spread of coronavirus, Brickworld Virtual will offer some of the convention fun without fans having to leave their homes.
There are 1,000 tickets available, priced at $5.00 each. Here is the official description of how the event will work:
Sit the entire family in front of the monitor for an afternoon of fun! See live interactive feeds of spectacular creations all built from LEGO bricks by LEGO enthusiasts. We will do it all via Zoom meeting rooms. So, interactive means you can ask questions of the builders and get up close views of display aspects that interest you. These are NOT videos or slide shows of still photos. These are live displayers excited to show you their art just like at any other Brickworld show. You will be able to bounce between rooms to check out different displays, vendors, and even presentations!
