Chewbacca misprint spawns another chilling LEGO variation
It’s the return of the LEGO Star Wars Chewbacca misprint as a printing error strikes again to bring a chilling version of Chewie to life.
We’ve seen LEGO Chewbacca get a rather alarming misprint before, where his face was printed on the back of his head, leaving the front half an eerie featureless brown. Now, however, we’ve got another variation on this rare mistake: Stomach Face Chewie.
“I finally added Chewbacca to my collection, only to see that there was a slight misprint,” wrote TheBilliard on Reddit, along with a photo of the misprint itself.
While the current owner might be disappointed to see their first Chewbacca looking not quite right, they could be sitting on a goldmine. A less extreme LEGO Chewbacca misprint is currently on sale on eBay starting from £99.99, offering a pretty impressive markup on the minifigure.
As for the budding LEGO Star Wars collection, it’s always worth the reminder that the LEGO Group will replace missing or damaged parts like these for free. All you need to do is reach out to the company’s customer service team and they will take it from there.
