Coldplay fan support brings another band-inspired build to LEGO Ideas

The latest member of the LEGO Ideas 10K Club is another in a surprisingly long list of musician or band-inspired fan-designed sets.

Designed by Coldplay fan and skilled builder MIKEYDENDEN, Coldplay Music of the Spheres World Tour Diorama depicts the four-man band, Coldplay. The brick-built stage includes space for the band and their instruments, with the slogan ‘believe in love’ on the wall behind them, with fireworks ‘exploding’ overhead as part of the show.

The minifigures of Chris, Guy, Johnny, and Will are impressively accurate, with musical instruments split between them. There’s an additional side build of the C-stage used on the band’s current tour.

In the description of the LEGO Ideas project, the designer highlights the reason behind the submission, writing: “Not only do they make fantastic music, but they also lead the industry in sustainability for touring and they spread the message ‘Believe in Love’ wherever they go. Because of this, I have been inspired to design this diorama of the main stage and a side build of the ‘C-Stage’ from the tour as a tribute to the amazing work they do!”
