There could be even more LEGO Marvel modular buildings

There may be room on the street for even more LEGO Marvel modular buildings in the future, both from the movies and comics.

A recent interview with LEGO designers including Mark Stafford and Justin Ramsden with MiniSuperHeroesToday regarding 76269 Avengers Tower has revealed that the design team are open to more Marvel modular buildings in the future from the movies and comics respectively.

“They seem popular” – Mark Stafford responded when asked about the possibility of more superhero modular buildings.

“Yeah exactly, 76269 Avengers Tower is my swan song I never want to make it ever again,” – Justin Ramsden stated, laughing.

“I’m so fed up of windows but they look so cool that yeah it would be crazy not to go back or redo or think about other things especially as the movies keep coming,” noted Stafford.

While nothing has been officially confirmed, this quote confirms that the team is at least open to the idea of redesigning buildings previously depicted in LEGO Marvel. However, most of the remaining buildings aren’t located in New York and are somewhat harder to imagine as modular buildings.

“The Marvel universe is so huge, there’s so many stories to tell so who knows where we’re going to go next in the LEGO superhero line but it’s pretty exciting,” mentions Ramsden.

“I’d love to pull from the comic books, you know, Daredevil’s brownstone or something like that would be very nice,” adds Stafford.

So far, the LEGO Marvel modular buildings include 76178 Daily Bugle, based on the comics and for the Marvel Cinematic Universe – 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum and 76269 Avengers Tower. 76178 Daily Bugle is available now for £299.99 / $349.99 / €349.99 and 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum can be found for £214.99 / $249.99 / €249.99.

As for what could be next for the LEGO Marvel modular buildings, we wondered the same question in 2022, though nothing has been officially confirmed at the time of writing.

LEGO Marvel 76269 Avengers Tower is launching on November 24 with the exclusive LEGO Marvel Taxi GWP for £429.99 / $499.99 / €499.99. It’s compatible with both of the other Marvel modular buildings as well as the official entries in the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
