Disney confirms delays for Star Wars, Marvel, Avatar movies
Disney has confirmed a selection of delays for upcoming films for Star Wars, Marvel, Avatar and more, some moving by years.
You might have to wait longer than expected for the planned future of the Avatar franchise, as well as more entries from Marvel as the latest round of film delays include some especially huge changes.
As reported by Variety, we’ve tracked the changes in the following tables.

For a galaxy far, far away there’s only one delay as well as the announcement of a new movie and the release date for another, though details are unknown at this time.
Marvel

Marvel has the most changes, but not necessarily the biggest updates as most movies have simply moved to the next available slot. However, the two upcoming Avengers films have been delayed by a full year each. Despite the many delays, Deadpool 3’s release date has notably moved up a few months.

Avatar is now going to continue until 2031, meaning 22 years will have passed since the original movie. The LEGO Group’s Avatar design team might need to get creative to keep the theme alive until then.
