More rumoured details for LEGO Speed Champions Formula 1 2025 wave
The LEGO Speed Champions March 2025 wave has rumoured piece counts, giving us something of an idea of what to expect from the wave.
We’ve already speculated that LEGO Speed Champions will need to innovate to keep people’s interest in 10 Formula 1-themed sets, presumably with each one focusing on different teams. However, the ten LEGO Speed Champions sets rumoured for release in March now have rumoured piece counts thanks to Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat, all within the range of 240 to 280.
That puts them firmly in the range for previous solo Speed Champions sets with one minifigure, and even below some of the more detailed recent builds like 76935 NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, which comes in at 328 pieces. That doesn’t leave a lot of room for playing around with customisation options as we’ve speculated.
Of course, Formula 1 cars in real life are by their very nature smaller and more stripped back than regular cars, so these rumoured piece counts do make sense in that way. It’s the same ballpark as 76919 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car, suggesting this set could be a good indicator of what’s to come.
