Dino-themed LEGO Spidey and His Amazing Friends sets rumoured for 2025
LEGO Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends subtheme will apparently continue in 2025 with three new dino-themed sets.
If you haven’t been paying attention to the animated Spidey and His Amazing Friends show – and fair enough, it is aimed at a younger audience – you’ll probably have missed the bit where they rolled out in dinosaur-themed suits. But it really did happen in Season 3, and the LEGO Group is said to be cashing in on this miraculous mash-up between superheroes and dinos (surely music to any toymaker’s ears) with a fresh batch of 2025 sets.
Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat claims that a wave of new LEGO Spidey and His Amazing Friends will drop on January 1, consisting of 11198 Spin and Electro’s Dino Racers, 11199 Spidey’s Team Rescue Mission in the Dino Truck and 11200 Treehouse Showdown: Spidey-Rex vs. Goblin-Raptor. The set names alone there should be enough to get even older Spider-Man fans amped for the potential of this range. Spidey-Rex! Goblin-Raptor!
While the sets are all likely to be labelled 4+, and therefore offer relatively simplistic builds for high prices (to cover the costs of large and unique elements), previous models in this subtheme have been a treasure trove of interesting character designs and funky pieces. Bundling those into dino-themed sets could prove to be a winning combination come 2025.
That’s if these sets exist at all: they’re only rumoured for now. But you can check out the details we have so far, including prices and piece counts for all three sets, in the table below.

Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
