From The Legend of Zelda’s LEGO Store debut to the latest series of Collectible Minifigures, here’s everything coming our way in September 2024.

The nights are drawing in (at least in the northern hemisphere) as we avalanche towards autumn, and that can only mean one thing: LEGO Christmas sets are almost upon us. But whether you’re already feeling festive or are still clinging to the last vestiges of summer, you’ll probably find at least one reason to load up LEGO.com on September 1 and place an order.

LEGO City September 2024 sets

The first of six new LEGO advent calendars launching in September 2024 hails from LEGO City, and if you want the quintessential Christmas experience, this is the one to gun for. It comes complete with a Santa minifigure if you don’t have one in your collection already, along with plenty of festive mini-builds to build out your city or Winter Village display.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures September 2024

The latest series of Collectible Minifigures builds on 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale with 71047 Dungeons & Dragons, delivering 12 fantasy-themed characters ready to populate your next tabletop campaign (or just your medieval builds). LEGO Disney September 2024 sets

LEGO Disney joins the advent calendar fray in 2024, expanding the roster beyond the usual cohort of City, Friends, Marvel, Harry Potter and Star Wars. You won’t find an Xmas Mickey in the mix here, though: this calendar is all about Disney Princess micro-dolls, with Ariel, Elsa and more hidden behind its 24 windows.

LEGO Friends September 2024 sets

The LEGO Friends 2024 advent calendar comes with both mini-dolls and micro-dolls, as the box art sets the stage for a cosy Christmas getaway. Its mini-builds include gifts, toys, accessories and plenty more.

LEGO Harry Potter September 2024 sets

Two new LEGO Harry Potter sets are debuting in September, including this year’s advent calendar – complete with a new Choir Ghost minifigure – and the annual direct-to-consumer exclusive in 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition. Early adopters of that set will receive up to three gifts-with-purchase until September 10 (or while stocks last) as part of this year’s Back to Hogwarts event.

LEGO Ideas September 2024 sets

Debuting on September 3 for LEGO Insiders – so a couple of days after everything else on this list – is 21351 The Nightmare Before Christmas, based on Disney and Tim Burton’s classic Halloween and Christmas mash-up movie. Coming to shelves thanks to a successful LEGO Ideas submission from Simon Scott, it’s a very neatly timed recreation of Halloween Town and its denizens.

LEGO Marvel September 2024 sets

This year’s LEGO Marvel advent calendar is hooked to the friendly neighbourhood wall-crawler in 76293 Spider-Man 2024 Advent Calendar, and includes the web-slinger’s best-known friends and foes. Miles Morales gets a unique holiday jumper while Venom has to make do with a plain red scarf, but Snow-Ham is probably the main attraction here anyway.
