Find all 12 LEGO 71047 Dungeons & Dragons minifigures with Brick Search

Time is running out to prepare for the launch of the LEGO 71047 Dungeons & Dragons minifigures, and Brick Search is the best way to get ready.

September 1 is fast approaching, bringing the release of 71047 Dungeons & Dragons one step closer day after day. Whether you’re planning on picking up a few of the customisable characters, the named minifigures or the full set, there’s one tool you need to be aware of.

The Brick Search app not only tracks your LEGO collection and keeps you up to date on upcoming sets but there’s a minifigure scanner that will be compatible with 71047 Dungeons & Dragons too.

The bottom of every box of 71047 Dungeons & Dragons has a data matrix code (smaller than your standard QR codes) that can be scanned with the Brick Search app to identify exactly which minifigure is inside the box.

For those new to LEGO minifigures or returning to the hobby after some time away, the packaging has changed, and you’ll now need an extra tool to know which minifigure is in which box. The LEGO Group has moved away from blind bags where you could feel certain pieces inside for sustainability reasons, opting for blind boxes instead.

Thankfully, Brick Search can scan the codes which should on average make the process of picking up a full set of minifigures faster than before. No more awkwardly standing in the toy aisle trying to avoid the gaze of fellow shoppers, or at least not for as long.

The Brick Search team are working to add the scannable codes for 71047 Dungeons & Dragons to the app ahead of launch day on September 1 in all regions. In the meantime, you can click here for a guide on how to use Brick Search’s minifigure scanner.

Download the app on Android here, iOS here, or scan the QR code below if you’re on desktop.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
