First discounts on LEGO August 1 Star Wars sets
The first discounts on some of the most popular LEGO August 1 Star Wars sets have arrived, including one that is on back order in the official store.
The three LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy sets are now available, including 75389 The Dark Falcon but it has proved popular and is on back order worldwide on the official online store. Thankfully, you can pick it up quicker in the UK and at a discount too.
Zavvi has the popular model in stock at the time of writing for its normal price but by using code LEGO5 at checkout, you can save 5% on the set, or around £8. It’s not a huge discount on the new LEGO Star Wars set but considering its recent release and the fact that it’s on back order, it’s at least worth considering.
75389 The Dark Falcon is the most unique take on the Millennium Falcon to date with an interior befitting of the ship complete with an upgraded iteration of the Dejarik table and a holding cell. Its minifigures are the stars of the show though including Darth Jar Jar, Bounty Hunter C-3PO, Darth Dev, Darth Rey, Beach Luke and Jedi Vader.
While many of those are original takes on familiar characters, Jedi Vader and Darth Rey look similar to other appearances of the respective characters from a movie and comic respectively.
Also available with 5% off using code LEGO5 is 75393 TIE Fighter and X-Wing Mash-Up. This Rebuild the Galaxy model might appear to include standard versions of the two titular starfighters, but that’s not the case.
The sizable models of the TIE Fighter and X-Wing both feature the function of removing their wings from the body of the spacecraft, mixing them as you see fit. It’s been a while since LEGO Star Wars was quite this creative with familiar vessels.
Alongside the builds, you’ll also receive a nearly entirely exclusive array of minifigures including a Rebel Pilot and TIE Pilot, Yesi Scala, Sig Greebling, and an L3-G0 astromech. There are no prizes for guessing what the droid is referencing.
