Five more LEGO Star Wars sets we want to see from Rebuild the Galaxy

A full trailer for Rebuild the Galaxy has got us wanting even more LEGO Star Wars sets based on the animated Disney+ show.

Disney’s D23 premiered a full Rebuild the Galaxy trailer for the animated LEGO Star Wars show. It’s set to take a What If…? style approach to the galaxy far, far away and that’s already produced three weird and wonderful sets, released at the beginning of August 1.

We’ve already speculated about what other LEGO Star Wars sets could be based on the show but, now that a longer trailer has premiered, we’ve got even more ideas of what we’d like to see. Check out the trailer below to see what we’re talking about and then we can dive into prime speculation territory.

1 – Return to Mustafar

A dramatic shot of what can only be Mustafar, complete with lavafalls and dramatic black peaks could mean that Rebuild the Galaxy would be a good excuse to return to Mustafar once again. Previous sets like the retired 75369 Duel on Mustafar haven’t quite captured the drama of the lava-filled location but perhaps now would be the time – and with whatever added twist the iconic planet is set to have in Rebuild the Galaxy.

2 – Beachy Podracers

Typically, podracers in Star Wars are associated with sand and used to travel over land. In Rebuild the Galaxy, they’re used to skim across the waves, as shown off in a surprisingly cinematic shot, considering this is an animated and vaguely silly Star Wars show. We’ve just had land-based podracers return in 75380 Mos Espa Podrace Diorama, so perhaps we could go a watery version based on Rebuild the Galaxy? Even if not an official one, consider this a callout for all the talented modders out there to get to work.

3 – Blue Milk Mos Eisley Cantina

Mos Eisley Cantina has got pretty much the same look but a different offering in Rebuild the Galaxy. It seems to now almost exclusively serve blue milk, likely thanks to the chilled out version of Luke Skywalker that lives in this universe. A diorama based on this new type of bar would be a fun way to get all of the new characters in one place, including the L3-G0 droid you can see in the bottom left.

4 – Transporter Walker

In an awesome showcase of how LEGO can work in the Star Wars universe, the ship from 75338 Ambush on Ferrix transforms into an AT-ST walker while in mid-flight, before launching itself off the side of a cliff. We simply need to recreate this at home, so we’re begging for a 75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up-style set that can transform between two separate ships into this mish-mash vehicle.

5 – Alternative Narkina 5

General Grievous, Yoda, and someone who could be Mace Windu are part of a crew from Narkina 5, the prison that Cassian launches an escape from in Andor. While there weren’t any official LEGO Star Wars sets based on Narkina 5, the popularity of Andor means that it would surely go down a treat – and even better if you can add some sort of fantastical twist on the location thanks to Rebuild the Galaxy.
