Four LEGO sets worth buying for the minifigures alone

As exciting as detailed LEGO models can be, sometimes you’re in it mostly for the minifigures, including these four LEGO sets.

LEGO minifigures are collectible and absolutely displayable on their own and the LEGO Group is fully aware of how popular and in-demand they are. Some LEGO sets feature feature minifigures that arguably outshine the main build. This can be due to their details, rarity or importance subject to the source material.

Whether they are based on films, games or TV series, these four LEGO sets are worthwhile for their exclusive minifigures and other kinds of figures, now discounted at GAME too.

GAME‘s current sale still includes a whopping 30%, or £45, off 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter and this is not only the exclusive home of a build inspired by the modern Dune movies, but also home to detailed minifigures of Paul Atreides, Lady Jessica, Gurney Halleck, Chani, Leto Atreides, Liet Kynes, Duncan Idaho and Baron Harkonnen in his long robe. All of these will be must-haves for Dune enthusiasts, and you can save £45 on the set now at GAME.

Similarly based on a movie franchise, but likely a more popular one, 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall is the biggest depiction of the iconic Hogwarts location to date, complete with a brand-new figure element for the troll. Professor Vector, the Fat Friar and more minifigures are exclusive to this set and it can be yours now at GAME for £34 off.

GAME‘s consistent 20% sale continues on 76274 Batman with the Batmobile vs. Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze. This model is based on Batman: The Animated Series and includes three minifigures inspired by the show. While Harley Quinn and Batman aren’t entirely exclusive, they only otherwise appear in a much more expensive build. Meanwhile, Mr. Freeze based on the animated series is entirely exclusive.

Looking towards the gaming space, LEGO Animal Crossing 77050 Nook’s Cranny and Rosie’s House offers an important location throughout the Animal Crossing games. Nook’s Cranny is also the workplace of Tom Nook – an iconic video game character who finally has a minifigure. This set is also on sale for 20% off at GAME right now.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
