Four new LEGO Fortnite sets officially revealed

The LEGO Group’s huge partnership with Epic Games is finally giving us four brand-new LEGO Fortnite sets later this year, including the Battle Bus.

From Peely Bone to the iconic purple Llama and even the Battle Bus, the time has finally come for LEGO Fortnite sets. Four new models have been officially revealed and will launch on October 1, but they are available to pre-order starting today.

The sets are inspired by various Fortnite modes, including the survival-crafting LEGO Fortnite mode and some that may tie more loosely into Battle Royale and Creative. It’s the latest in the massive joint partnership between the LEGO Group and Epic Games, which shows no sign of slowing so far.

Four sets have been confirmed today and one even features minifigures of the game’s many characters and outfits. Here’s everything you need to know about these long-awaited builds before they release in October.

77070 Durrr Burger

Price: £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 Pieces: Release date: October 1, 2024

The smallest LEGO Fortnite set depicts the Durrr Burger from the in-universe restaurant chain of the same name and it’s not the first time that this prop has made it to the real world after an event in California in 2018. It’s also not the first time it’s been brick-built as the Durrr Burger appears as a decoration for a chest in LEGO Fortnite.

With 193 pieces, 77070 Durrr Burger is the smallest and most affordable LEGO Fortnite model at £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 and it looks to be ideal for a small display dedicated to the game without breaking the bank.

77071 Supply Llama

Price: £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99 Pieces: 691 Release date: October 1, 2024

Commonly referred to as the Loot Llama, 77071 Supply Llama is the second LEGO Fortnite set based on the item but it’s by far the biggest of the two. You can pre-order it now for £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99 and it includes 691 elements.

This 691-piece build is much larger than the Supply Llama that appears in LEGO Fortnite and its upscaled design matches that of Battle Royale. That said, it specifically includes gear featured in LEGO Fortnite including a charm, the Grappler and much more.

77072 Peely Bone

Price: £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 Pieces: 1,414 Release date: October 1, 2024

77072 Peely Bone seems to be the set most inspired by the Fortnite modes beyond LEGO Fortnite – with an 18+ target demographic to match. This 1,414-piece model is not inspired by the Peely Bone LEGO Style, but the main outfit that can be used in non-LEGO modes.

The sculpture comes complete with the Peely Pick pickaxe, Paint Launcher and Banana Bag Back Bling that similarly cannot be used in LEGO Fortnite at the time of writing. It will launch in October for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 with moving arms but static legs.

77073 Battle Bus

Price: £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 Pieces: 954 Release date: October 1, 2024

It wouldn’t be a LEGO Fortnite wave without the Battle Bus and 77073 Battle Bus seems likely to be the most popular LEGO Fortnite model come October. This is the only LEGO Fortnite build to feature minifigures based on in-game outfits, including the Battalion Brawler, Adventure Peely, Brite Bomber, Cuddle Team Leader, Cube Assassin, Trespasser Elite, Drift, Meowscles and Raven. There are plenty of new minifigure pieces for LEGO-centric enthusiasts too.

While the bus appears in one official LEGO Island, it is more commonly associated with the Battle Royale mode, though this set only features equipment from LEGO Fortnite specifically. This 954-piece set releases on October 1 for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 and pre-orders start today.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
