Free LEGO Fortnite minifigure and merch at gamescom 2024

Those in attendance at this year’s gamescom event can pick up a free LEGO Fortnite Cuddle Team Leader minifigure and branded merchandise.

Gamescom 2024 is currently in full swing, with a number of LEGO-themed panels scheduled to be taking place at the show over the next few days, in addition to yesterday’s reveal of new LEGO Mario Kart and Animal Crossing sets.

For those in the city attending the annual video game event, the LEGO Store in Cologne is also offering up a free Make & Take event to build a colourful miniature gaming controller model. What’s more, visitors to the official LEGO stand in Hall 6 of gamescom can also pick up even more freebies, this time themed round LEGO Fortnite.

Promobricks is reporting that attendees who make their way to the Insiders counter of the stand and have their membership confirmed will receive one of two LEGO Fortnite drawstring bags, with Adventure Peely prints.

In addition to a copy of LEGO Life magazine, the bag also contains a flyer from the LEGO Store in Cologne that can then be exchanged for a LEGO Fortnite Cuddle Team Leader minifigure. The pink bear character is one of nine minifigures included in the upcoming 77073 Battle Bus, which is due to be released on October 1, alongside three other LEGO Fortnite sets.

There’s yet to be any specific LEGO Fortnite-related video game news from this year’s show, despite various Marvel content having recently been added to the Epic Games title. However, gamescom 2024 is due to run until August 25, so there’s still time for some announcements regarding the game and other LEGO interactive titles.
