Free minifigure confirmed for next LEGO Star Wars magazine
The next free LEGO Star Wars magazine minifigure has been confirmed, thanks to a teaser page from Issue 98.
It’s common for the LEGO Star Wars magazine to include free minifigures or even small builds, with past editions including gifts like a mini Y-wing or a Scout Trooper. Thanks to a picture from The_Brick_News on Instagram, we now know that Issue 99 of the LEGO Star Wars magazine will include an Imperial Stormtrooper minifigure with a blaster accessory.
The minifigure uses the same armour that has so far only appeared in 75339 Death Star Trash Compactor Diorama, and is due to pop up again in this summer’s 75370 Stormtrooper Mech. This will be the cheapest and easiest way to stock up on the current design, and with the Stormtroopers’ long-standing role as cannon fodder in the battle between the light and the dark side, you can never have too many to fill out any epic brick-built battle scenes.
The LEGO Star Wars magazine comes out with one issue every month, and Issue 97 is available now for £4.99 with a free Scout Trooper. Issue 98 will then include a mini AT-TE build from August, while you can expect to find the Stormtrooper on shelves in Issue 99 in September in the UK (which runs a month behind mainland Europe).

- I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.

I think issue 99 is coming out on the 17th (Thursday) in the UK. Article is lazy and inaccurate. Nowhere has this issue for sale in the UK.
This article is extremely disappointing, and my expectations for this site have drastically decreased. It is disheartening to see individuals purchasing multiple copies of a children’s magazine solely to hoard the minifigures. I strongly object to the common excuse of reselling the magazine individually on platforms like eBay. The minifigure is an integral part of the comic’s storyline and plays a crucial role in a child’s experience of buying and reading the magazine.
I have come across similar articles in the past, and I felt compelled to voice my concerns once again.
While I understand that you are an adult and have the freedom to make your own choices, I find this behavior particularly disheartening. It seems as though you are endorsing the exploitation of a product that is primarily targeted towards children and is only available in stores for a limited period.
No one cares
I have the July issue and the teased mini build is an AT-TE.
That can’t be right, Issue 98 in the UK is released on the 26th of July and will contain a mini build, it’s more than likely going to be Issue 99 that the Stormtrooper comes with but even the 12th of August won’t be right as that is a Saturday and they usually get released on a Wednesday, plus it’s only 17 Days after Issue 98 will have been released so I imagine it should be later in the Month for Issue 99’s release.
