Get your builds displayed in the LEGO House with LEGO Ideas

A new challenge has started on LEGO Ideas, searching for impressive custom creations to go on display in the LEGO house once again.

As one LEGO Ideas challenge draws to a close, another starts on the platform and this time, there’s a particularly exciting opportunity for enthusiasts to take part in. LEGO Ideas is once more being used to hunt down detailed builds to display in the LEGO House in Billund, Denmark in one of three categories.

You can submit a model based on the categories of ‘The secret life of…’, ‘Flora and Fauna’ and ‘Mashup Madness’. All entries must be able to be built physically as a screen depicting the model won’t be quite as impressive in Billund as the real deal would be.

You must also make sure that any baseplate used is between 16×8 studs and 64×32 studs and that the model is no more than 60 bricks high. No parts of your model can overhang 64×32 studs, although you can have different parts overhanging if you have a smaller baseplate. You can find out more about the challenge’s requirements on the challenge page.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
