Gravity Falls gets another chance at a LEGO Ideas set

Another LEGO Ideas project based on Gravity Falls has reached 10K in a short amount of time, giving the Disney series another shot at a set.

Just 10 days after it was submitted to the platform, Minibrick Productions’ second Gravity Falls project based on the Mystery Shack has successfully reached 10,000 supporters.

You might remember them from their first build based on the series, or as the fan designer behind 21345 Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera. The user also has sets inspired by Interstellar and Outer Wilds in review to try and become official LEGO models.

Their second Gravity Falls project strongly resembles their 2021 design but with some noteworthy changes to the minifigure selection. Now, the project proposes Mabel, Dipper, Stanford, Stanley, Waddles, Soos, Wendy, Gideon and Bill as minifigures, single-piece figures and brick-built figures.

The build is suggested to consist of a large model of the Mystery Shack with four interior rooms as well as a golf cart and other decorations representing the surrounding forest. Gravity Falls is an award-winning Disney animated series from creator Alex Hirsch that ran from 2012 to 2016, but its story has continued in other forms since then including in the recent The Book of Bill.

There have been many unsuccessful projects pitching a LEGO Gravity Falls set but with any luck, the fact that this submission took just 10 days to reach 10,000 supporters will impress the judges enough. For now, it joins many other models in the second 2024 review selection.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
