How to guarantee you get all 12 LEGO Dungeons & Dragons Collectible Minifigures in one purchase

A fresh pre-order LEGO minifigure deal is one of two surefire ways to get all 12 LEGO Dungeons & Dragons Collectible Minifigures in one fell swoop.

The age of new blind boxes instead of bags has made it undoubtedly trickier to find the minifigures you want and avoid doubles. Luckily, the Brick Search app‘s minifigure box scanner, first introduced when 71045 Series 25 came with data matrix codes on the base of the boxes, can help.

The minifigure scanner can read those codes and show you in the app which Dungeons & Dragons character is in the box in seconds, so you know what you’re buying ahead of time. There’s more information about the minifigure scanner here, or click straight through to download the app for Android and iOS.

Another way to ensure you get all 12 minifigures from 71047 Dungeons & Dragons is to buy them all at once, with no doubles. That’s not possible to do at every retailer but The Minifigure Store has just opened pre-orders on at least one guaranteed way to secure all 12 characters.

The first option is to pre-order The Minifigure Store’s Box of 12 Different LEGO 71047 Dungeons & Dragons, priced at £69.99 and shipping worldwide. Buying LEGO Collectible Minifigures at their RRP of £3.49 would cost you £41.88. While this is cheaper than The Minifigure Store, that’s provided you manage to find each of the 12 minifigures first time, without buying any duplicates. You only need to get it wrong eight times and you’ll already have spent more than if you had simply pre-ordered the Box of 12 Different LEGO 71047 Dungeons & Dragons.

Pre-ordering now from The Minifigure Store means that your box of a complete set of 71047 Dungeons & Dragons will ship from September 15, two weeks after the LEGO Collectible Minifigure series officially becomes available to buy in LEGO stores. They will come without the traditional boxes in grip seal boxes.

Another option, suited to those who want multiple copies of the entire series or who plan to split a box with friends is a Retail Box of 36 71047 Dungeons & Dragons. These remain in their mystery boxes and maintain the fun of not knowing exactly which one you’re going to get. It’s likely that these retail boxes of 36 will contain three copies of each minifigure but not guaranteed. If you’re set on the full series, it’s better to go with the guaranteed Box of 12.

Use Brick Search to make your LEGO D&D Minifigures quest as simple as possible. Download the app now for Android and iOS.
