Bonus in-game freebie confirmed for LEGO Fortnite sets

The LEGO Group has announced that when you pick up any of the four LEGO Fortnite sets, you can score a free in-game bundle with an outfit.

The LEGO Group has officially confirmed that as part of their partnership when Epic Games, anyone and everyone can grab the Operation Brite Starter Pack for free when you buy either 77070 Durrr Burger, 77071 Supply Llama, 77072 Peely Bone or 77073 Battle Bus. This bundle include 13 LEGO Fortnite Decor Items, a Back Bling to use outside LEGO Fortnite and the Brite Agent outfit, which comes with a LEGO Style too.

That starter pack is available to purchase separately for £2.79 / $3.75, but earning it for free isn’t difficult and you could qualify for this promotion by grabbing 77070 Durrr Burger for £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 (or the other three models too). All you need to do to qualify for the free starter pack is scan the QR code on the front cover of the instructions for any of the four sets.

First, you’ll need the LEGO Builder app and a LEGO account so that you can register your sets. Tap the QR code icon on the homepage and when prompted, scan the QR code on the instructions and you’ll register the set to your account. For a more in-depth guide to registering sets, click here.

Once you have registered the set, you will be redirected to the Fortnite redemption webpage to redeem your code. At the time of writing, we do not know where the code you will need to redeem will come from – it may be sent to your LEGO account’s email address or automatically be entered when you are redirected to the Fortnite website. We’ll update this report when we learn more. Either way, redeem the code and the starter pack will be yours to use in-game immediately.

Brite Agent is not a minifigure in any of the four LEGO Fortnite sets but the outfit is a variant of Brite Bomber, who appears in 77073 Battle Bus. Any of the four new sets launching on October 1, 2024, will qualify for this promotion and it will start as soon as the LEGO Fortnite sets are released next month.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
