What’s inside the mystery LEGO Fortnite promo box?

A mysterious LEGO Fortnite promotional box has been sent out to some lucky fan media, but just what video game-related items are lurking within?

LEGO Fortnite continues its unstoppable success, with millions of players worldwide logging on each day to play the game since it launched over a week ago. The result of a highly-anticipated collaboration between the LEGO Group and Epic Games, the recent update is now a permanent addition to Fortnite, with more content and updates confirmed for early 2024.

Following the hugely-successful launch of LEGO Fortnite, some lucky fan media have been sent a mysterious black box branded with the game’s logo. One of those was Ashnflash, who posted a video on his YouTube channel to reveal just what’s been included in the enigmatic promotional package.

Opening up the box gives access to such LEGO Fortnite-branded goodies as a T-shirt and a hints and tips poster, as well as a copy of 71469 Nightmare Shark Ship, with the LEGO DREAMZzz set actually appearing in the game in digital form.

Also included in the LEGO Fortnite mystery box is a brick-built Loot Llama sealed in acrylic, the same model that was available at a number of recent in-person events and one that can be constructed using these official instructions. Unfortunately, it appears as if the version Ashnflash received was damaged in transit, with the video revealing a pile of loose pieces rattling around inside the tube for all eternity.

However, Instagram user thebrickwiz has provided a better image of the intact Loot Llama, with a plaque on the special edition stating the model is limited to just 625 copies. It’s possible the promotional item could always pop up on the secondary market at some point, but its scarcity could mean it’ll end up being a pricey purchase for any potential collectors.
