It’s double trouble for Gravity Falls on LEGO Ideas

Should Gravity Falls not be picked for a set in the second 2024 LEGO Ideas review, it has another chance thanks to a classic case of double trouble.

Disney’s Gravity Falls series is evidently a popular pick for a future LEGO Ideas set from the community as not long after the second project based on the Mystery Shack reached 10K for the second 2024 round, mad.bricks‘ take on the museum now stands a chance at getting a set too.

Their depiction of the Mystery Shack isn’t as detailed on the outside but embraces a similar selection of rooms on the inside, as well as including the golf cart. There’s little chance that both Minibrick Productions‘ and mad.bricks‘ models will be chosen but there is a benefit to both builds being in review rounds.

Should the LEGO Ideas team opt for another project in the second 2024 review round, Gravity Falls still stands a chance at becoming a LEGO Ideas set. The results for both rounds won’t be confirmed for some time and for now, mad.bricks submissions joins the third 2024 review as the second project in the phase.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
