John Lewis offers pre-order deal on even more August 1 LEGO sets
August 1 is a big release day for both LEGO Star Wars and Technic but thankfully more sets have been added to John Lewis‘ pre-order deals to make Day One shopping easier.
The UK retailer is offering free named day delivery for August 1, guaranteeing buyers copies of eight upcoming releases. Considering that pre-orders from the LEGO Group won’t start to ship until August 1, ensuring delivery on the first day of the month is the easiest way to be among the first to build the upcoming sets.
Some new additions to the list include the newly-revealed LEGO Technic 42177 Mercedes-Benz G 500 and LEGO Star Wars 75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit, the set featuring the last 25th anniversary minifigure.
All the sets available for pre-order at John Lewis have the potential to go on back order pretty quickly on August 1, meaning securing a day-one copy could prove tricky. In particular, 75389 The Dark Falcon and 75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up have been gathering a lot of attention, being such unique sets associated with the Rebuild the Galaxy series. 75389 The Dark Falcon‘s minifigures alone make it well worth an early purchase.
LEGO Minecraft 21265 The Crafting Table also marks a new direction for the theme and one fans might want to build early. We’ve broken down all the details of the sets available for pre-order below, or click here to start shopping at John Lewis directly.
