LEGO 40697 Halloween Pumpkin rumoured to light up 2024

The newly rumoured LEGO 40697 Halloween Pumpkin gift-with-purchase is said to be a rare kind of gift – one with lighting perfect for the season.

Instagram user fateful_lego reports that Halloween 2024 will be accompanied by a new gift-with-purchase named 40697 Halloween Pumpkin. While it might not sound too exciting at first, it’s also rumoured to have a light brick which is rare for gifts-with-purchase.

40697 Halloween Pumpkin is rumoured to include 254 pieces and a light brick and be offered in October, just in time for Halloween. The contents are said to feature a pumpkin on a patch of lawn with a nearby ghost.

The last time we saw a light brick in a gift-with-purchase was in 40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration for a projector and it would arguably be even more fitting for a pumpkin model.

While it’s not stated in the rumour, the light brick in the reported gift-with-purchase would presumably be used to light up the inside of the build, illuminating its face cutout appropriately.

Take all rumoured information with caution until more is confirmed but for now, it sounds like 40697 Halloween Pumpkin could be a good decorative gift in October, as long as its real.
